The douche and his girlfriend driving what looked like an old Toyota jeep (or an old SUV model of some sort) were gunning down the 134 Fwy West around Glendale and Burbank. He was stubbornly tailgating us and other drivers in the #1 and carpool lanes on the freeway despite the fact that traffic was pacing along at around 80 mph in those lanes. The jackass driver also didn’t care if there were cars in front of you as he continued to bumper-hump you while slouching over his steering wheel. I couldn’t get a read on this guy’s plates because he had two different plates–one in the front and one in the back with different letters and numbers. I don’t know how legal that is, especially since I’ve never seen that before. I believe that you’re only mandated to have a license plate on the rear bumper in some states (I don’t think California is one of those states), though I don’t think that’s an invitation to stick whatever the hell you want on your front bumper. Anyway, if any of you have insight on this, it would be much appreciated. FYI, both plates were California plates (the front being a Save the Whale backdrop). What’s not up for debate is that this prick was a speeding, tailgating, impatient douchebag. However, at least he was signaling, so I docked off one on the Asshole Meter for that.
